No single charity can provide all of the services need to help all the problems animals, and their owners, face. RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch specialises in rehabilitating and finding new homes for animals that come into our care.
Whilst we can’t rescue animals from neglect or cruelty ourselves, we do look after pets that national RSPCA Inspectors have rescued from such circumstances.
The Inspectorate, that rescue animals from cases of neglect and cruelty, are run by the national RSPCA. RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch supports this work by taking animals rescued by the Inspectorate into our care.
RSPCA Northamptonshire is an independent, registered branch of the national RSPCA – founded solely for the care of animals across Northamptonshire. While we share the same values as the national charity, we operate independently and must fundraise to support our vital work.
Whilst we work closely with the national RSPCA, we are a separate charity. If you would like your gift to come to us, please make sure you specify RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch, our registered charity number is 205377.
Yes. Provided the gift is left specifically to RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch, the money will come straight to the branch and will help us continue supporting local pets.
Please email us at enquiries@rspca-northamptonshire.org.uk and we would be happy to guide you through the process. Alternatively you can write to us at Community Welfare Hub, 7 Newton Road, Rushden, Northamptonshire, NN10 0PS.
If you’re making a will with our Free Wills scheme, all wording is taken care of.
If you are having your will made by someone else, please use the following wording when referring to RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch:
‘The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Northamptonshire Branch (RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch) which is a Registered Charity in England and Wales. Registered Charity number 205377.’
At RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch we use the Perfect Match system to ensure that pets find homes best suited to their individual needs.
Sometimes we have no applications that are suitable to the specific requirements of a pet and therefore continue to care for them ourselves until we are able to find the right home for them.
